2025: A Year of Growth and Expansion for Automatic Heating

As we close out 2025, it's worth reflecting on what has been a transformative year for Automatic Heating Global. From strategic acquisitions to international expansion and landmark healthcare projects, this year has strengthened our position as Australia's leading provider of commercial heating and hot water solutions.

Simons Boilers Joins the Automatic Heating Family

In May, we announced the acquisition of Simons Boilers—a move that brings together over 190 years of combined expertise in Australia’s commercial heating industry. Operating under the Simons Boilers Group brand with headquarters in Sydney, the acquisition expands our product range, manufacturing capacity, and service coverage, particularly across New South Wales.

The partnership unites two companies with proud family histories and a shared commitment to quality. Retaining key staff from Simons’ engineering, administration, logistics and manufacturing teams ensures continuity for existing customers while opening new possibilities for both local and export markets.

Automatic Heating Opens UK Office

Garth Davey at Automatic Heating UK office

November marked another significant milestone with the opening of Automatic Heating UK Ltd in Surrey. This expansion brings our expertise in energy-efficient condensing heating and natural refrigerant heat pump technology to the UK market—capabilities we’ve been refining in Australia for decades.

Leading our UK operations is Garth Davey, whose deep technical knowledge and industry experience will ensure UK clients receive the same level of service and support that Australian customers have come to expect. We’re excited about the opportunities ahead as we contribute to commercial projects across the UK.

Frankston Hospital: Our Largest All-Electric Healthcare Project

Backed by a $1.1 billion Victorian Government investment, the Frankston Hospital Redevelopment is the largest health infrastructure project ever undertaken in Melbourne's south-east. Automatic Heating is proud to be part of this landmark development, supplying high-performance hot water systems powered by Revere CO₂ heat pumps.

The project features eight Revere CO₂ CHP-80Y2 heat pumps installed across Level 5 and 13 plantrooms. A prefabricated skid-mounted system was designed and assembled offsite, then craned into place—reducing on-site disruption and installation time while delivering an ultra-efficient, low-emissions solution aligned with the hospital's sustainability goals.

Once complete, the redeveloped facility will expand services in maternity, oncology, mental health, and paediatrics, providing more people with faster access to care closer to home.

2025 has been a year of building foundations—through acquisition, international expansion, and delivering on major infrastructure projects. As we head into 2026, we're well-positioned to continue supporting Australia's transition to sustainable, high-efficiency heating solutions while bringing that expertise to new markets.

Thank you to our clients, partners, and team members who made this year possible. We look forward to what we'll build together in the year ahead.
